The presented work deals with the issue of life of seniors in the Czech Republic. There are a number of changes associated with aging that affect an individual's quality of life. These are physical, psychological and social changes that manifest themselves in all areas of an individual's life. Probably the biggest change is retirement, which is accompanied by the search for a new meaning of life. The opportunity to study can help in this regard. Seniors can use a variety of forms of further education. However, they most often look for educational activities carried out within universities of the third age. In the presented work, the relationship between the quality of life of seniors and education within U3V will be determined. For this purpose, the data of the Czech Statistical Office concerning the quality of life of seniors will be analysed and a questionnaire survey among seniors will be carried out.
